I used to love chai tea lattes! Although I try to stay away from caffeine and milk these days, I still love the flavour and aroma of the warming spices; ginger, cinnamon, cloves, etc.
You can find plenty of non-caffeinated chai alternatives, and of course you can use a non-dairy milk and some healthier sweetener option (like maple syrup or coconut sugar instead of a regular table sugar), but why not take it to the next level and make it super healthy and nutritious?
I drink green juices every single day and I love experimenting with flavours. When I accidentally put these ingredients together, and then sprinkled some cinnamon and cloves on top, it so closely resembled the chai latte I used to love!
Of course, this is not a real chai, but if you love the warming spices, you’re going to love this delicious drink! It’s packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds.
