It’s warming up here in Melbourne! My body has been craving tangelos, oranges, berries, smoothies, lots of fresh foods!
This smoothie filled me up, made me feel light and kept me going until lunch. If you have small kids this is a great smoothie that they will love too! It’s packed with antioxidants, vitamin C, protein, potassium and other nutrients.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 small orange
- 1 blood orange
- handful of any greens (I used rocket/arugula)
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup liquid (I used 1/2 coconut water, 1/2 homemade almond milk)
- Fresh herbs to garnish (I used mint)
Directions: Wash your fruit and veggies, peel your oranges and toss everything excluding the herbs into a blender and blend.Garnish with your fresh herbs and enjoy!
