Brazil nuts provide a rich source of selenium, and happen to be even more bio-available than most supplements in the market. Selenium is an important nutrient to support thyroid health. Most Naturopaths and Nutritionists will recommend 1-2 brazil nuts per day as a natural source of selenium, enhancing any healing protocol for someone who has a hypo-thyroid, hormone imbalance, or simply wants to ensure they are meeting their nutritional needs.
Ingredients:
1 cup Brazil nuts
4 cups spring water
1/8 tsp. vanilla bean
1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup optional
Instructions: Blend and store in glass. You can strain if you like, I don’t strain Brazil nut milk.
